A safe work place takes a coordinated effort on the part of all employees, however frontline supervisors have perhaps the most crucial role. Front-line supervision is where safety comes together; where the vision and values are executed, where the processes are complied with, where decisions are implemented, and where safety can be seen. It is the moment-by-moment decisions and actions of the frontline supervisor that ensure work is done safely, or not. Despite their critical role, frontline supervisors are often the least experienced leaders and are given little training in safety leadership. During this webinar, workplace safety expert, Judy Agnew will explain how to better equip frontline supervisors with the safety leadership skills they need to be successful. Six steps to frontline safety leadership success will be discussed, and the rationale for each will be provided along with tips on how to accomplish them.
